Celebrity Holiday Home Side-hustles – Beragampengetahuan
Want to live like an A-lister on your next getaway? We’ve found some celebrity holiday homes that you can actually stay in.
Whether frazzled from the red carpet or from dodging prying paparazzi, celebrities need holidays too. And with huge bank balances at their disposal, many of them are opting to buy and create their very own holiday homes.
However, combining hectic filming schedules and the lure of their other houses means that these getaways are often left empty.
As a result, increasing money-savvy famous folk are opening up these second homes to the public as a lucrative side hustle.
From Rick Stein’s Australian bolthole and Hugh Jackman’s beach house, to “The Block” star Darren Palmer’s Byron getaway and King Charles’s country retreat — here’s how you can live the life of a real life celebrity, even if it’s just for one night.

Rick Stein – Mollymook, NSW
NSW’s gorgeous south coast is peppered with sparsely populated, gorgeous beach towns. But one in particular has become an even bigger blip on the tourist radar since it became a sometime residence for one of the world’s most recognisable chefs.
Approximately three hours’ south of Sydney, Mollymook Beach is known for its excellent surf, sweeping sands, clear waters and for being the location for one of two Rick Stein restaurants in Australia.
Not only that, but the British seafood king and his Aussie wife, Sarah, have bought their very own slice of Aussie coastal paradise just around the corner.

The five-bedroom beach house is set on a clifftop overlooking the ocean. And given that the couple are in residence only around six times annually, the rest of the year it’s open for let through the neighbouring luxury boutique hotel, Bannisters, meaning that us mere mortals can get a taste for celebrity living — for a price.

A refurbished retro-style ’60’s coastal retreat, ‘Rick’s Place’ can be all yours for $1,000 a night (Sunday-Thursday) and $2,000 a night on Friday and Saturdays.
The fee includes use of the entire house — wrap-around deck, private pool, BBQ and all.

And while the celeb chef himself may not be in residence, you can taste some of his foodie creations at his eponymous restaurant in the main hotel just down the road.
Edwina Bartholomew – Blue Mountains, NSW
When she’s not delivering the latest news as one of Channel 7’s “Sunrise” hosts, TV presenter Edwina Bartholomew spends her off weekends away from Sydney one a 100 acre property around three hours outside of Sydney in the Capertee Valley in the Greater Blue Mountains.
Purchased by the Aussie star and her husband in 2016, the historic sandstone and its beautiful farmland — which she has named Warramba — has since been tastefully renovated and transformed into a luxury farm retreat. And when the star and her family aren’t in residence, lucky holidaymakers can enjoy some of the rural serenity by renting it out for a weekend.

Warramba is available to rent from $600 per night for couples, with a $100 charge for each additional guest.
Darren Palmer – Byron Bay, NSW
Despite already owning a house set a stone’s throw from the world famous Bondi Beach, renowned interior designer and “The Block” judge, Darren Palmer, has added to his ‘surf and sand’ portfolio with a recent purchase in Australia’s holiday capital of Byron Bay.

Set in Suffolk Park near Tallow Beach, Darren and his husband actually stayed at their house when it was being used as a rental three years prior to purchasing.
Longtime holiday goers to the Byron region, the pair laid down $3.85 million after falling in love with the four-bed, two-bath, two-storey home. And it’s not hard to see why.
Enjoying a treetop outlook and housing an enviable eight-metre-long saltwater pool, the rear of the house backs onto bushland, and the crashing shores of the beach are a mere 100 metres away — features which have seen the house swamped with bookings since it was listed for public rental.

Of course, Darren is in good company in his Byron buy, with fellow “The Block” star, Shelley Craft, also investing in the area, alongside Simon Biker, Natalie Imbruglia, Isabel Lucas, and most famous of all, Chris Hemsworth all calling Byron Bay home.
Miriam Margolyes – Southern Highlands, NSW
Known locally as the ‘Green Heart of the Highlands’, the tiny farming town of Robertson is a nature-lovers dream thanks to its idyllic lush forests, walking trails and waterfalls.
Countless visitors have fallen for its charms — visitors including British actress, Miriam Margolyes.

Miriam’s rural retreat can be all yours for upwards of $500 per night.
Hugh Jackman – The Hamptons, New York, USA
With the shock separation announcement of Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness, it’s unclear who will get to keep the sprawling Hamptons property in their portfolio.

Purchased by the “Wolverine” star in 2015 for a cool $5 million, they then spent six years rebuilding the waterfront property and transforming it into their dream beach house.

Spread over 5,000-square-feet, the house comprises five bedrooms, a gym, home theatre, pool and Jacuzzi, and, as of January this year, the famous couple revealed that they would be making the palatial property available to rent during the winter months.

Yes, you can slumber in the same bed as Hugh, but it’ll cost you. The Jackman residence is priced at a whopping $5,000-plus per night!
Mick Jaggar – Mustique, West Indies
Located on the West Indies tropical island of Mustique, Mick Jagger’s Stargroves villa is nothing short of stunning.
Boasting a beach setting with incredible views over the Atlantic Ocean, this 1930s property is set over seven separate pavilions connected via a raised walkway.

The Rolling Stones frontman’s tropical getaway sleeps up to 10 guests and comes with all the facilities that every self-respecting high roller needs: swimming pool, fitness room, sundeck, and a team of resident staff, including butler and chef to cater to every whim.

You might fancy yourself as having the moves like Jagger but, at close to $7,000 per night during high season, you’ll need to have a rock star-sized bank balance to match in order to afford a stay here.
