Hogwarts Legacy Is Once Again The Top Selling Game In Canada, This Time For December 2023 – Beragampengetahuan

While 2023 ended more than a month ago, we finally know that Hogwarts Legacy was the top-selling game in Canada for December 2023, the final month of last year, according to ESA Canada’s monthly top-selling games reveal on its now updated website.  Once again, this endeavour was conducted in partnership with ESA Canada and marketing research firm Circana (formerly known as the NPD Group).

Hogwarts Legacy hasn’t had the number-one spot since it first launched in February of that year; following behind it in Canadian sales are all games that came out at some point this year. Some of the top 10 December 2023 titles include some that were the number one game for their respective month, like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Diablo 4, Starfield, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Hogwarts Legacy is officially the only game that has repeated the number one spot in the twelve months of this official Canadian game sales series. The list of the top ten selling video games in Canada for December 2023 is below.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Nintendo Switch) – Digital Sales Not Included
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PC, PS4, PS5, beragampengetahuan One & beragampengetahuan Series X|S)
4. NHL 24 (PC, PS4, PS5, beragampengetahuan One & beragampengetahuan Series X|S) – Canadian Developed
5. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (PS5)
6. Diablo 4 (PC, PS4, PS5, beragampengetahuan One & beragampengetahuan Series X|S)
7. Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Switch) – Digital Sales Not Included
8. EA Sports FC 24 (PC, PS4, PS5, beragampengetahuan One, beragampengetahuan Series X|S & Nintendo Switch) – Canadian Developed
9. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (PC, PS5 & beragampengetahuan Series)
10. Starfield (PC & beragampengetahuan Series X|S via Game Pass)

That is at least the final month of Canada’s top-selling games for 2023. We’ve done this for each month since the beginning of ESA Canada’s partnership with Circana in January 2023, and we’ll do this all over again for 2024 when we learn which games hit the top ten video game ranking for Canada. Until then, see you next time!
