IT’S February, and while all those well-intentioned goals that were set at the start of the year may have long since fallen off the wagon this second month in the calendar can be the start of something good.

While every resolution is a great way to begin, it takes real commitment to make even a few lasting changes. In an effort to ease the wealth of choices out there, the good people at OpenTable have come up with the best (so far) in restaurants offering healthy cuisine, and the first few are dedicated to the wealth of Irish and European flavours that surround us.

The five-star-rated 3fe Grand Canal Street in South City Centre Dublin has made the list before for excellent cuisine as rated by diners; who knew that the contemporary café with coffee tasting and brewing classes turning out cakes sandwiches and soups has received the same recognition for its healthy restaurant cuisine? The café is open Monday to Sunday for inspirational breakfasts, lunches and brunch.

The five-star-rated 3fe Grand Canal Street in South City Centre Dublin has made the list before for excellent cuisine as rated by diners. The restaurant open evenings from Monday to Thursday and midday Friday to Sunday has earned the Restaurant Association of Ireland Best Vegetarian Restaurant for 2023 and with 4.7 stars overall, are clearly onto winning healthy cuisine.

Rounding out the favourites for Irish and European cuisine with 4.3 stars as rated by OpenTable diners is Cornucopia in Wicklow Street, a family-run counter and self-service establishment of handcrafted, European-inspired vegan dishes that includes an impressive array of allergy-sensitive options.

There you have it, the best in Irish and European that are currently available in Dublin Ireland. Well intentioned goals can become a healthy habit, and diners at have spoken.
