Steelers create NFL history for all the wrong reasons as footage emerges of Mike Tomlin roasting George Pickens – Beragampengetahuan
The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing their worst football at the worst possible time.
On Sunday morning, they were 7-4 with their next two games against teams with a 2-10 record.

However, instead of being 9-4, the Steelers are 7-6 after losing 10-24 to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and 18-21 to the New England Patriots in the Thursday Night Football game.
They are now outside of the playoff picture in the AFC, while creating an unwanted piece of NFL history in the process.
The Steelers became the first team in league history with a record above .500 to lose consecutive games to teams at least eight games below .500
To make matters worse, starting quarterback Kenny Pickett is still injured, and head coach Mike Tomlin has a seemingly unmotivated wide receiver in George Pickens.
The second-year wideout is undoubtedly talented but cut a frustrated figure on Thursday against the Patriots amid Pittsburgh’s offensive struggles.
Pickens caught just five passes for 19 yards and appeared to be going through the motions at times. His perceived lack of effort didn’t go unnoticed among fans on social media.
His head coach also picked up on his indifferent demeanour, with cameras appearing to show Tomlin giving the receiver an earful about his performance.
The clip did the rounds on social media but most people sympathised with the 22-year-old for playing in such a stagnant offense.

“Won’t even blame him if he doesn’t come back after his rookie deal is done,” one person said.
“I cant wait til Pickens leaves and goes to a team that builds an offense around him. His talent is utterly wasted here,” a second said.
“Wasting so much talent for what?”, a third replied.
“Pickens would be so so so much better with a better team and a good QB,” a fourth added.
Mitch Trubisky was filling in for starting QB Kenny Pickett, who has an ankle injury, and completed 22 of 35 for 190 yards, passing for a touchdown and running for another.
The Steelers managed just 264 yards of offense against the Pats in the wake of former offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s recent firing.
Tomlin’s team now find themselves in a difficult spot, vying for one of the three wild-card spots in the AFC, despite being in a relatively strong position just a week ago.
“We get ready for our next opportunity next week,” Tomlin said after Thursday’s loss. “It’s what we always do. Obviously, this stings, but we’ll be back.”
“This is what we do,” he said. “This is who we are.”
The team now has a road game against the Indianapolis Colts, a home game against the Cincinnati Bengals and road games against the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens to end the season.
However, all those teams have .500 records or better, and given the way the Steelers are currently playing you wouldn’t fancy them in any of those contests.
