Baltimore County Police detain possible suspect in fatal shooting at Sky Zone in Timonium – Beragampengetahuan
Police have detained a possible suspect for a shooting at Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Baltimore County that killed a man.
The shooting, which happened shortly after 7 p.m. at Sky Zone’s Timonium facility on West Aylesbury Road, resulted in a 32-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds being flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The man was in serious condition Saturday night, police said, and was later pronounced dead.
During a media briefing several hours after the shooting, Detective Anthony Shelton said a possible suspect had been detained. Police said earlier the person was a “known individual.” The person left the trampoline park after the shooting, Shelton said. Police believe the suspect and the victim know each other.
An investigation led by the Baltimore County Police violent crime unit is ongoing. Shelton called the incident “isolated” and said there is no danger to the community.
“This is not something that normally happens here,” he said.
No children were injured in the shooting, Shelton said. Later Saturday night, all trampoline park visitors had been reunited with their families. Police did not know how many people were inside the park at the time of the shooting.
Dominic Sinclair of Baltimore said he was at the register at Sky Zone with his 10-year-old son when they heard what sounded like a balloon popping. Sinclair said he wondered aloud what kind of events were happening inside.

The father of a 17-year-old employee of Sky Zone who identified himself only as David stood outside the building with some others Saturday night waiting for his daughter to be interviewed by police. He came to the trampoline park after his daughter called him and said she was checking someone in when she heard a shot. She was scared and ran into an office, he said. Then she heard six more shots.
Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. issued a statement Saturday thanking police for their swift response.
“This incident of gun violence is shocking, horrifying, and simply has no place in our community,” he said. We are thankful that no children were injured in this shameful act of cowardice.”
The trampoline park advertised a “glow” night for Saturday on its Facebook page and website, when lights would be dimmed and lasers, music and black lights would transform the space. However, the glow event was not slated to begin until 8 p.m.
