Jack Grealish’s home targeted by burglars during Manchester City’s match against Everton – Beragampengetahuan

Jack Grealish’s property was burgled while the Manchester City midfielder was playing against Everton in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The 28-year-old played the entire match at Goodison Park but during that time, his house in Cheshire was burgled, with a number of valuable items allegedly stolen.

Cheshire Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “At around 9.50pm GMT on Wednesday, December 27 police were called to reports of a burglary.

“The caller reported that a number of items had been stolen.

“Officers, supported by the police dogs and NPAS, were deployed and searches were conducted in the local area, but there was no trace of the suspects.

“Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police.”

City are aware of the incident and will continue to provide Grealish with any support he needs.

A number of high-profile Premier League footballers have been the victims of burglaries in recent years.

Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling had jewellery and watches stolen from his home in England while he was away with his country during the World Cup in Qatar last year. A man appeared at Guildford Crown Court in November and faces 33 counts of conspiracy to commit burglary.

Grealish’s former City team-mate Joao Cancelo was attacked in his own home by four people in 2021 and was left with a cut on his forehead by the incident.
