Transfer Twist: Khama Billiat set for Yadah – Beragampengetahuan

Former Zimbabwe and South African Premier Soccer League star Khama Billiat has sparked transfer rumors after being spotted with prominent prophet and Yadah Stars FC owner, Walter Magaya, upon his arrival in Harare on Tuesday.

While no official announcement has been made, the development fuels speculation of a potential move to the modest Zimbabwean club.

And from sources around, it appears as if it is a done deal, with an announcement meant for Thursday.

Zimpapers go so far as to say the announcement was delayed because there was a national holiday in Zimbabwe.

When the move is confirmed, Yadah will have beat other top flight sides Dynamos, champions Ngezi Platinum Stars, and the moneyed Manica Diamonds.

It will leave a particularly sour taste in the mouth for Dynamos, who were thought to be far advanced in negotiations. They and Ngezi are set for the African Safari this year, and having the former Warriors talisman on their books would have been music to either’s ears.

As marketing coup, this is top tier for Magaya’s side, as it comes on the back of his extensive investment in his football infrastructure.

How much the injury-prone star will play remains to be seen.
