Woodberry cannabis warehouse catches fire, Baltimore City Fire Department says – beragampengetahuan – Beragampengetahuan

A small fire broke out at a cannabis warehouse in North Baltimore early Sunday morning, according to fire department spokesperson Kevin Cartwright.

Firefighters received a call around 8:30 a.m. about a fire at a warehouse at 2200 Girard Avenue, Cartwright said. Firefighters traced the source to a small room, extinguished the blaze “within 10 to 15 minutes,” then ventilated the building, he said. There were no injuries.

“This fire appeared a lot bigger than it was,” Cartwright said.

Inspectors have not yet officially determined the cause of the fire. Cartwright said preliminary reports suggest that a light ballast fell from the ceiling, causing a “small amount of cannabis” to catch fire and create smoke.
