Zimbabwe maintained their perfect run in the African Games after beating Nigeria by a massive 10 wickets in Ghana on Wednesday.
The West Africans batted first and were off to a fast start, going at 10 per over after the third.
But then Zimbabwe clawed back, showing their class to bowl the Nigerians out for 88.
Their innings was hampered by an injury to Isaac Danladi on 15 while facing Trevor Gwandu. He had to retire hurt while looking good, and did not make it back.
Owen Muzondo was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Gwandu’s redemption arch continued to gather pace as he grabbed two.
Tadiwanashe Marumani and Rodney Mupfudza were patient as they made their way to the total.
Marumani, the senior, scored 47 off 44, while Mupfudza knocked 39 off 54.
Zimbbawe will meet Kenya in a semi-final on Wednesday.
The other one sees Namibia clash with Uganda.
